About our Farm

Manor Farm run by the Hawking family is an organic 280 acre farm which links food production to landscape and wildlife (The RSPB counted 41 different types of bird on the farm this year). We grow 150 acres of cereals all of which are fed to the animals. The farm produces 400 pigs a year and 50 cattle all of which are sold through the farm shop.

The farm has an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and is in the Countryside Stewardship Scheme. It is also a member of the LEAF organisation linking the environment and farming.
